The best time to visit Rome would be in the spring (March – May) and autumn (September – November), when the weather is warm, more pleasant, and you can often find reduced prices for flights, hotels and tours. July and August are the most popular and busiest time of the year, but at this time the weather tends to be very hot with no respite and quite unpleasant, especially as a visitor.
